Milky Mist Scales Up: ₹40 Crore Yogurt Plant Opens in Tamil Nadu

Milky Mist Dairy Food has commissioned a new Skyr and Greek yoghurt manufacturing facility at its integrated plant in Perundurai, Tamil Nadu.

Built with an investment of approximately ₹40 crore, the facility utilizes advanced ultrafiltration technology. It boasts a processing capacity of up to 150 tonnes per day, which is substantially higher than the company's previous unit commissioned in 2022 that handled around 20 tonnes per day. Milky Mist reported that annual category demand has surged by over 50% since 2022, while demand for its high-protein yoghurt lines has more than doubled in recent months.

The new plant is strategically designed to scale up production, maintain consistent product quality, and significantly expand the company's high-protein dairy portfolio.
